Charlotte is 2 weeks old today, and as you can see, she is getting to be big stuff (we’re trying not to let it go to her head). She is very healthy, gaining weight at twice the norm, and is obviously going to be a tall girl just like her Mum. She’s also starting to notice the world around her, and will stay awake just looking at things. Still undecided whether it’s night-time or daytime that’s for sleeping, but such is life. Also, I am not entirely sure anymore whether her eyes are brown or dark, dark blue. Slate, perhaps?
In her short time on Earth, Charlotte has already had many adventures, including “grandma’s house“, “the midwives’s office“, “Starbuck’s” and yes, “the pub“.
